Ladies, Gentlemen and Guild Officials!

The Cartographer's Cup has just hit eight teams. That’s a lot. We’re really flattered by your engagement and that encourages us to make the event as memorable as it can be. Some of you still need a player or two, so we’ll be on a lookout for suitable mercenaries.

At this point we have decided to open a waiting list and put further registrations on hold. Not for long, just for two or three weeks. In that time our team of surveyors will take measurements of the event venue and figure out how many more teams can comfortably fit inside.

Ladies, Gentlemen and Neverborn!

We’ve got some good news. Five teams have already signed up for Cartographer’s Cup within the first month after announcement. That’s just one short of our minimum requirement and half of our maximum capacity. Some countries have a second team ready and waiting for registration. Ah, yes - we’re opening registration for second teams in April, in just three weeks, so if your country does not have a representation yet, don’t miss your chance!

Everyone knows huge team tournaments are the kind of events that keep players excited. There’s also a downside, unfortunately. It may be hard to build a team of eight considering the logistics of international travel and balancing it with our everyday commitments. We were seriously considering scaling teams down, to five players or maybe just three or four, but it would inevitably lead to underrepresentation of some factions (poor gremlins). Therefore we’re opening a roster of mercenaries. If you’re a lone player - a journeyman cartographer, lost in the depths of Malifaux - make sure to put your name on the list along with your contact information. Or maybe you’re a captain of seven brave souls looking for an arcanist that would make your party complete. Well, you’ve come to the right place.
